TODD MILNER NAMED THACKER CASKETS, INC. SALESPERSON OF THE YEAR (May 2008).
Thacker Caskets, Inc. recently conducted its national sales meeting at the site of their new factory in Florence, Alabama. The meeting was highlighted by Todd Milner being named the 2007 Thacker Salesperson of the Year. This is the third consecutive year that Todd has won this prestigious award, a feat without duplication in Thacker’s 69 year history. In his acceptance speech, Todd acknowledged the loyal support of the Thacker Family, and of his customers in Ohio and Michigan. Todd and his family live in Sylvania, Ohio where Todd also serves his community as a city councilman.

JOHN COOPER JOINS THACKER CASKET MANUFACTURING (January 2008)
Thacker Caskets, Inc. is pleased to announce that John Cooper has joined the Thacker Casket Management Team. John will assume the title of Director of Distributor Sales. As such, John will join Thacker President, C.J. Thacker, and Mike Beardsley, Thacker Vice President of Sales & Marketing in providing important assistance and consultation to members of the growing Thacker Distributor Network.

John is a well recognized and highly respected personality in the funeral supply business. He comes to Thacker Caskets, Inc. with 15 years of proven industry expertise, and with a rich and varied background in metal casket manufacturing, marketing, and distribution.

In November, the Casket & Funeral Supply Association (CFSA) honored John by electing him to their Board of Directors where he will serve for the next 3 years.

John has earned an Associates degree in Business Administration from Vincennes University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Indiana University at Indianapolis. He and his family live in Fishers, Indiana.

  • Some overnight travel will be required, approximately 20%
