SANDY SAUCIER
Sandy is Director of Operations of Thacker Caskets, Inc. She received her initial orientation into the casket and funeral industry while working summers during high school for Carl and Audrey Thacker at the founder’s Washington, DC office. In 1971, after completing studies at Dunbarton College of the Holy Cross, Sandy moved with her husband to Newport, RI to begin a family. In 1978, she returned to the Washington, DC area with her two daughters, and accepted a position at Stone Ridge Country Day School as Assistant Director of Development. In 1980, Sandy began a renewed love of the casket business and service to the funeral industry when she again joined the Thacker Family. Sandy manages the Thacker Caskets, Inc. day to day operations including accounts receiveable, human resources, and inside sales. In her spare time, Sandy enjoys visiting with her grandchildren and also teaching dance.
LOUNELL BADGETT
Lounell has worked as an Administrative Assistant for Thacker Caskets, Inc. since August, 1986. At Thacker, Lounell is experienced in aspects of customer service including handling customer questions and also order taking. In addition to the customer service portion of her job, Lounell also manages the inventory for the 13 warehouses. Lounell was born and raised on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. After graduating from Bowie State University in 1983 with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Lou Nell moved to Washington, DC. Today, Lou Nell is married to her husband Darryl and they live in College Park, MD. She has a daughter and two sons. Lou Nell’s outside interests include singing, sewing with her quilting guild, reading, sports, and taking care of her family.
GREG BREHM
Greg joined Thacker Caskets, Inc. in 1999 as a Funeral Director liaison to assist the company in better understanding the needs of our funeral director clientele. Greg himself has been a licensed funeral director since 1986. He is a member of the Maryland State Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association—both since 1986. At work, Greg handles various duties including order and delivery logistics, accounts payable, and custom embroidered head panel orders. In his spare time, Greg enjoys motorcycle riding, and snow and water skiing. A licensed private aircraft pilot since 1980, Greg is a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. He also enjoys spending time with his wife Joanne and daughter Katelyn.
