Casket & Funeral Supply Association of America

The Casket & Funeral Supply Association of AMERICA (CFSAA) was founded in 1913 as the Casket Manufacturer’s Association (CMA). It was conceived as an organization to foster communication and the sharing of information among the many American casket manufacturers and jobbers of the period.

In time, suppliers to the casket industry such as fabric companies, hardware makers, etc were invited to join the association along with vendors and manufacturers of allied death care products.
The CFSAA operates today as a clearing house of information, and as the “voice” of the Funeral Supply Industry. CFSAA publishes a monthly newsletter and issues regular bulletins to members regarding breaking industry developments.

Among the many services offered by the CFSAA are:

• Monthly calculations of casketed deaths by casket type (IE: steel, wood, cloth, etc.)
• Host an annual industry trade show and general meetings
• Annual Funeral Home Credit Guide
• Quarterly synopsis of the US morbidity and mortality figures
